Who we are at Busy Bees

Sandra Fowler and Sue Warren started Busy Bees in the spring of 1998.

They met whilst studying for a City and Guilds patchwork qualification at their local college.

The shop is in the grounds of Tredegar House a 17th century Charles II mansion set in 90 acres of parkland and formal gardens which is situated on the outskirts of Newport just two minutes from the M4 junction 28.

You will find the shop right by the car park.

The two part time members of staff are Marianne McMorrow and Chris Williams. As well as working in the shop they both teach at Busy Bees and are gifted needlewomen.
Busy Bees is a happy and friendly shop with lots of time for its customers most of whom become friends. Do try and pop in if you are in the area.

The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm and from Easter to September the shop is also open on a Sunday 12.30pm to 4.30pm
